Windows 10 or 11

1. Run PC2Sonos-Setup.exe. If Windows SmartScreen says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. The installer isn't code-signed yet.
2. It installs VB-Audio Virtual Cable, sets it as your default playback device, adds the firewall rules Sonos needs, and starts PC2Sonos.
3. The dashboard opens in your browser. Turn on your Sonos speakers, play something, and press Auto.

Uninstall it from Settings > Apps, like any other program.

macOS 12 or newer

1. Open the .dmg and drag PC2Sonos to Applications.
2. The first launch says Apple could not verify PC2Sonos. Click Done, then go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. On macOS 14 and older, right-click the app and choose Open.
3. Let it install the free BlackHole audio driver, and click Allow when it asks for Microphone access. Here's why it asks.
