Why your PC speakers and Sonos echo
Sonos speakers always play a second or two behind whatever sends them audio. That delay is built into Sonos so a group of speakers stays in step, and no app can remove it. So when your computer's speakers and a Sonos play the same thing, you hear it twice. PC2Sonos holds your computer's speakers back by the same amount, like the lip-sync setting on a TV or AV receiver. Press Auto once and it measures the delay for you.

Volume and EQ your way
Each Sonos and each PC speaker gets its own volume slider, even headsets Windows can't turn down. Add bass, mid and treble EQ or a boost for quiet desk speakers.
Private
Runs entirely on your machine. No account, no cloud, no telemetry, and on Windows it never uses your microphone.
Set up in three steps
- Install. Run the Windows installer or open the Mac app. It sets up the free virtual audio driver it needs.
- Pick your speakers. The dashboard opens in your browser. Turn on the Sonos speakers you want.
- Play something and press Auto. PC2Sonos measures the delay, and your PC speakers and Sonos play together from then on.

Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There's no paid version, trial or license key. If it's useful to you, there's an optional pay-what-you-want donation.
Does it need the Sonos app or a Sonos account?
No. PC2Sonos talks to your speakers directly on your home network.
Can I just use Sonos as my computer speaker, without my PC speakers?
Yes. Leave the PC speaker volume at zero, or unplug them, and only Sonos plays.
Which Sonos speakers work?
Any Sonos speaker on your network. Turn on as many as you like and each gets its own volume.
